Our founder Studios provide a collaborative environment where accountability, peer mentorship, and networking thrive. We use proven coaching and documentation methods to help founders clarify goals, make progress, and identify blind spots and alternate paths.
Operating for seven weeks at a time, our Startup Studio model provides maximum flexibility for founders to tackle their "next hardest step" — from product development and market alignment to operational processes and fundraising preparation. Depending on the individual circumstances of each project, our participants can “stack” cohorts to tackle broader, long-term challenges, or join for one cohort to address a specific challenge.

Doman Innovation Studio cohorts are held throughout the year. Dates and times are as follows- all meetings are held in-person on the University of Utah campus.
**1. Summer 2026 Cohort: Tuesdays, June 9th to July 21st (no meeting on June 30th). 12:30-2:00PM
Fall 2026 Cohort 1A: Tuesdays, August 25th to October 6th, 12:30-2:00PM
Fall 2026 Cohort 1B: Thursdays, August 27th to October 8th, 10:00-11:30AM.**
**4. Fall 2026 Cohort 2A: Tuesdays, October 20th to December 8th, 12:30-2:00PM

Doman Innovation Studio works with projects that are past the prototyping stage. While iteration happens throughout a project’s lifecycle, you should already have an initial product that you can put in the hands of a potential user (this applies to both physical products and service-based businesses). Additionally, you should have some level of user feedback- meaning, somebody other than yourself and your close friends/family has tried the product and given you feedback.
